 Smiley

Hello,

When I was growing up, my dad was a miner, our summer holidays was in Morecambe, this would have ranged from maybe 1978- 1986.

I Rememver things, like The Fun Fair (At the back of the Woolworths), Bubbles and Morecambe Pleasure Beach!  A small track ride in Heysham!  If anyone has pics could they send them to me

(sunshine.nataly@yahoo.com)

Anyway I love to travel over Europe twice a year, and 2 years ago, I was saw the Heritage weekend thing so booked myself in back on west end road, enjoyed it, and returned the next year!!! So for my summer hols this year its split Between Morecambe and Fleetwood

I would like to start a Morecambe page up..... on Bebo, do you think this would work

Also looking for EMAIL/PEN FRIENDS from Morecambe

Thomas

Hi Thomas - I remember Bubbles well, I spent many a summer there.
Also Frontierland but I was more fond of Bubbles because of the waterslide and wave machine.

Even though Frontierland has been knocked down there is a small theme park with a few kids rides near where Bubbles use to be (near the Midland Hotel) see the photos in our gallery:

If you find any pictures please post them in the forum too.
