I want to bring my son to Morecambe next weekend (29.09.01)to go fishing. I'm sure I can't be the only visiting angler - there must be plenty like me who would like to see photos of the most likely spots for anglers, the
types of fish available at the different times of the year, the baits to use etc and with perhaps links to local tackle shops and tide-tables. Just an idea....

In the meantime, can anyone give me any info that might help me retain some credibilty with my son next weekend?

The best fishing shop in Morecambe is Gerrys 01524 422146

There website is:
http://www.gerrys-of-morecambe.co.uk

On the site it has plenty of information for you, but you could also give them a ring for first hand information.

If you ring Morecambe Tourist Information Centre 01524 582808 they will send you a Tides book (for £1) so you will know the best time to arrive.

I hope you and your son have a wonderful day and have memories of the one that got away!
