Further to my earlier post, just been for a walk along the prom with our dog.  Dog poo everywhere!  (not our dog's).  There were 2 supermarket trolleys abandoned on the beach, several plastic bottles, a broken glass bottle and other bits of manmade debris.  This is a bank holiday weekend, with lots of visitors in Morecambe. For goodness sake, why aren't the council doing something about this and ensuring the beach area and prom is free of this sort of stuff.  What are we paying our Council Tax for?  On the first major bank holiday of the year our beaches should be spotless.

Come on Morecambrians!  Wake up!  You are paying your taxes to Lancaster, but it's all being spent in Lancaster, there's nothing coming back into Morecambe.

Is there anybody out there?

Anybody who cares, that is?

I agree wholeheartedly with your comments i used to live near the prom it was
like walking through a minefield theres also an old guy who feeds pigeons thousands of em
yet the council do nothing about that either all they are is flying RATS its a wonder there
hasnt been a serious outbreak of infection in the area.If they want to attract visitors to the resort
they should get there act together and clean the town up and stop shutting attractions down or
the place will die a long miserable death .
