hello again
i have had this problem.
it is easy to fix.
the ball rotates 2 wheels inside the mouse. the wheels get a build up of dust and grease.
turn the mouse upside down
turn the ring around the ball to the left
release the ball
clean the plastic wheels with tissue and meths
reassemble..............
voila as we say here
good luck

I am pulling out all my hair with this problem. Whenever I use my mouse to either "click on" something, or to correct my many typing errors, the cussed curser seems to have a mind of it's own. The curser seems to either stick on something that I don't want, or it's getting increasingly difficult to align the curser in between letters, for example. What is wrong, and how do I fix it? Please help me, before I find myself taking to the hills and screaming at the full moon (if I can see it through the rain clouds!) Many thanks, Elaine.
