Pets dumped in recycling bins in Torrisholme
This is one of the sickest things I read recently in The Visitor.
Rabbits, kittens and a guinea pig being dumped in bottle banks in Morecambe. Don Holroyd, rescued the pets, at the Torrisholme bottle and can banks after some people heard the animals whining. Aparently the animals had been so desperate that they had started to eat their own fur and skin.
Animal and child abuse are 2 things that make my blood boil. Don Holroyd (aka The Hedgehog Man) did a great thing by rescuing them but there’s one thing that I disagree with him about. Don is quoted in The Visitor as beieving that these crimes were committed by pet owners because they don’t have enough money to feed the animals due to the poor economy - these crimes weren’t committed by cash strapped pet owners, they were committed by sick, twisted, a-holes who one day will receive karma and be forced to eat their own poo.
