Nowhere for him to get in!

Hi Caroline,

I have got a big problem that's really getting me down, and i can't talk to anyone about it because it's embarassing. I'm 16, and I've been with my boyfriend for 8 months now. Two months ago we tried to have sex, but we couldn't; but I think he thinks we did. We tried again before and still, we can't. There just seems to be nowhere for him to get in, however much i want him to. I think there's something wrong with me. It's really upsetting me and it's making me be snappy with my boyfriend, because I feel he blames me, but I know he loves me.I don't know what to do. please help.

Hi Hannah,

I can tell you there's nothing wrong with you, it seems that the opening to your vagina is a bit tight!! Virginally tight, if you know what I mean! You just need to stretch it a bit (its something you can do yourself ) whilst taking a warm bath try opening it yourself privately and ease a finger into the opening you'll find it will open it may hurt a bit (that's because it's tightly fit) But if you keep at it, you'll find that it's a hole somewhere and it will stretch you keep trying it will eventually open, try some KY jelly from the chemists and DIY at home in the bath.

It's there and it will see the light of day, keep trying.
