Sexual preferences are your business, so if you both want to participate then that's up to you both.

Unless your girlfriend has piles, or worms (sore itchy areas around her anus then I don't think that anal sex will give you an infection)

However its always advisable to use a from of protection just in case and semen gets around the front area and slides its way through her front area. It can then possibly get through her vagina and possibly cause a pregnancy!

So, bearing all this in mind Think carefully and be careful whatever sexual act you take on.
