This will be my first time

Dear Caroline

I have been going out with my boyfriend for almost a year now,he is 18 and I am 16. My problem is that he lives in England and I'm in Ireland so its a long distance relationship altough it's been hard keeping it going for so long, it has been really good, and I am in love with him and him with me.

He is coming to stay with me for the rest of the summer and i feel that I am ready to sleep with him, he has already had sex and I feel scared as this will be my first time, but I want him to be the first. How can i approach this? he does know that I have not had sex before and he said their is no pressure but at the same time I want him to tlak to me about it so we can tlak about how we feel before anything happens how do I do this without sounding stupid?

Hi Elizabeth,

If yore both in Love, then just do whatever comes naturally just go with the flow,take it at your own pace and stop if it doesnt feel right, although two people in love just make it right , believe me.

Let him guide you if he's been there before ,and don't worry too much I'm sure it will all work out.

Make sure that you use protection though, you don't want a pregnancy to deal with do you? or at least make sure you're taking precautions yourself.
